Confidence

What happens when the very thing you feared happening, happens? You know the "thing" you say God, I can handle this & probably that & but ________, Lord, I can't do it! What do you do? Do you spas out... Panic... Give up... Shut down... Go back to old habits (drinking, smoking, stripping, gambling, etc.)...

I started off this week remembering/celebrating my dads (deceased) birthday. While every year I will face this time my original question came to mind. Reality is; Death is real! Job loss is real! Foreclosure is real! No financial aid is real! Yea I coud get drunk to only realize after I vomit and deal with a hangover my issue is still there. Still sitting heavy in my heart & eyesight for me to deal with. When the unthinkable or what may seem unbearable happens, don't make decisoins based on a temporary circumstance.

My song of the week suggest to have "Confidence" is Jesus. Many of us know the word, go to church on Sunday's but are WEAK in our faith. When these times hit, that's not the time to waiver but to stand strong on what you already know to be true. If you proclaim His word when things are 100 then claim it louder when your down to what seems to be nothing. Have confidence that His Word is real. Have confidence that even when you mess up, He can make all things straight. We all have to go through a process. This will only make you stonger and develop Godly characterastics in you. Show the devil & your enemies that you may get knocked down but you because you have confidence in God & His Word; It won't knock you out.Go through with your head up & a smile. Yes it may hurt & your tears may form your own little river... Yet, at the same time pray and ask God for strength to make it through. Man, if you only knew how much God cares and wants to see you win. God's got you! Have confidence in Him...
